Everything you never wanted to know about me:
It all started in a town called Apple Valley (A suburb of Minneapolis) on a cold winter’s day, when my parents decided to try for one more kid. With a thought I don’t care to think about I was born. Yes, I’m from Minneapolis Minnesota, a place where 27 below is a temperature not a wind-chill.
I got in trouble my whole life for talking in school, you know the kid that set a record for detentions…ya’, that was me. My plan was to be a golf pro “when I grow up” but 4 hours a day to practice became impossible with girlfriends, a car and parties, so with a wish from a genie and a voice that caused constant laryngitis as a kid, I decided to get into radio. A quick degree in college later and I was doing a Morning Show in Wisconsin. After some time I moved back to Minneapolis and work on one of the largest country stations in the nation.
After spending my whole life in an artic tundra, I thought beach and sun sounded a bit more appealing, so I got the job in Panama City Beach (that and I was caller number 9 when they where looking for DJ’s) and I couldn’t be happier, plus my friends back home are REALLY jealous!
I look forward to meeting all of you this year and thanks for the warm welcome!
As my mentor would say, “Drink tonight for tomorrow we ride!!” And on a 6-Pack side note, I only drink Jack and Coke so the ride should be interesting.
